Dakotafish Jitters
More Dakotafish love today. This record said they wanted to hang out in with my little black heart this morning, and have decided to move in permanently. Couldn’t just share one jam.
When I wrote about Los Angeles based Dakotafish back in March I described them as Death Cab’s answer to happiness and Ace of Base’s long lost cousin, with a pinch of Lord Huron and Avi Buffalo thrown in for good measure. There was something else that I couldn’t pinpoint, and I’ve got to say it’s a mix of Lionel Ritchie and the Beatles. That would have been one sick collab.
The entire record deserves some serious love. Moody pop funk, and soulful harmonies never sounded so good. Just in time for summer. Congrats to Mike and Ely! Can’t wait to catch a live show.

Dakotafish - Jitter
Genre: synthpop
Today, words can’t seem to flow very easily for some reason — all though I have about a thousand things to say about this splendid synthpop/alternative project Dakotafish from the rural California. In fact, I wonder why Jitter isn’t already a radio hit.

Dakotafish!
In Cape Cod totally jiving on this band Dakotafish. I don’t think they’re from Dakota or that they’re fish but they’re pretty damn good.
